A trip to the seaside

One of the funniest stories I remember about grampy is when we went on a trip to Devon.

It had taken us some time to arrive and decide where we were going, so by this point all that was on everyones mind was a cup of tea and of course as pointed out by grampy a cornish pasty!

When we arrived parking was tight and once we found a space we got out to help grampy find one. And then there it was! Though much to many peoples dissapointment it involved parallel parking... and all of us were worried grampys car wouldnt fit so tried to guide him away.

Not one to be beaten, grampy didnt listen to us and made it his mission to get in that space - anything for that cup of tea! The next part is what had us crying with laughter....

Grampy reversed into the space, car reving very loud, slight bump to the curb and back out. Attempt two, angle was better, car louder this time and *bang* he drove into the car behind him. Either in a panic or unaware, he straightened up and *bang* hit the car in front of him, *bang* again to the car behind.....

As I’m sure you can imagine we were all in hysterics - especially when grampy got out of the car as though nothing had happened and asked where the tea and pasty could be found!!
Dont worry no damage to any cars but lots of giggles and funny memories to take away :)

Grampy liked to live his life with a “where there’s a will there’s a way attitude” and this showed us who can fit in their car parking spaces haha.
